Where the Sun Has Been Hiding

A woman reaches for an outstretched hand. Original ink and pencil drawing.

Story: You carry a burden no one else can see, but I notice that it's weighing you down, that you stand under the shadow of clouds and fight for the light you deserve. So set down your burden and take my hand, and let me show you where the sun has been hiding.

Do you know how clouds can disperse as if they were never there, leaving you with a blue sky and sunshine so bright and warm you can't even imagine what it was like to be cold? Isn't finding out you are loved, for yourself, and unconditionally, just the same?

Media: Ink and graphite pencil

Surface: Cartridge paper (acid-free, 220gsm)
